I’m Alive by Mariel de la Jara-Smith

San Francisco based artist with a love of comics, animation, and graphic design, amongst other things. Originally trained in the realm of fine arts at Ruth Asawa School of The Arts, learning painting, sculpture, and figure drawing, Mariel attempts to apply those techniques to their digital pieces, usually delivering odd nostalgic sentimental art. Currently they are a first year comics major at CCA, striving to explore as many mediums as possible through their classes.
