Page 1
Panel 1 shows a night sky and the curve of a full moon. Panel 2 shows a giant feminine cloaked figure looming over a desert highway. Panel 3 features a single wide open eye. Panel 4 shows the moon, or perhaps the figure, watching a car drive down the lonely road.
Text reads: Here comes the moon. Rising above the desert mountainside. An eye in the sky, bloodshot and wide open. Staring at you in your little car.

Page 1 shows the cloaked woman climbing up a staircase of stars. Page 2 shows the cloaked woman sitting in the moon like an aerial performer, watching the car. Below, a rearview mirror shows the driver looking worriedly behind them.
Text reads: Here comes the moon. Climbing her celestial staircase, step by step as she shrinks away from us, draping her dark veil below her as it glitters with stars that take shape as she reaches her perch, out of view from your rearview mirror.
Page 4 and 5 spread
A top down view of the car driving down the road, the moon looming and stark shadows forming. One panel of the mysterious woman's face, her hair covering her eyes, head resting in hand with an ambiguous look on her face.
Text reads: Here comes the moon. Chasing you as you drive down that lonely highway, watching apathetically – or judgmentally? As you bargain for one more hour on your last quarter tank, the nearest motel 100 miles away.

The full moon lurks behind several panels of the following details: a hand, some cactuses with a dry tree branch losing its leaves in the wind, a couple coyotes howling, and a pair of fingers adjusting the car radio to maximum volume.
Text reads: Here comes the moon, biding her time as you run out of yours. Conducting a midnight symphony of howling winds and coyotes, heralding a warning you can't hear over your 120 bpm playlist.
Page 7
6 sharply angled panels of the following details: the full moon, a pothole, a raccoon's snarling face, a boulder with a growing shadow, a dust devil, a shaken eye
Text reads: Here comes the moon. Did you see that hole in the road? Or the raccoon crossing the street? The boulder you thought was a tumbleweed, the dust devil you stared too long at, because you thought it was a ghost?
Page 8 and 9 spread
The car swerves off the road, about to collide with a cactus, whose shadow in the headlights loom large
Page 10 and 11 spread
The aftermath of the car crash. The car is upside down, broken glass litters the ground, a shoeless leg and its removed shoe. A close up of the thrown shoe, a spinning tire, the blood splattered cactus, and a pool of dark liquid that could be blood or oil.
Text reads: Here comes the moon. Grayscale over your desaturated body, alone on the hot cold pavement, your tires spinning in the air. Your blood never looked so black, like oil.
Page 12 and 13 spread
A close up of the driver's dying face, featuring their eye, wide open, bloodshot, dried tears streaking down their face, a cut on their cheek and nose bleeding.
Text reads; Here comes the moon, shrouding you in a colorless halo. You stare unblinking up at her, finally giving her what she was waiting for this whole time…
Page 14 and 15 spread
The cloaked woman reaches out towards the reader, as if the driver's point of view. Her hood and hair flutters in the wind. She looks as if she is smiling. The full moon frames her like a halo.
