PAGE ONE
PANEL ONE: LAUREN, an adult with light brown hair and wearing a dark brown hoodie, motions towards an image projected onto a wall. She is giving instructions, “OK, so first I want you to draw the shape of the pose. Then draw your character in the same pose.” The projected image contains two drawings: a sketch of a figure drawing pose, and a cat drawn in the same pose.

PANEL TWO: LAUREN is seated at a table and holding a smartphone. A capsule projector sits beside her, projecting the image onto the wall. A pen and paper sit on the table in front of LAUREN. LAUREN says, “Oh, let me turn on some music.”
PANEL THREE: The projector beams an image of Chillhop Raccoon walking alongside a body of water with a lighthouse on the distance. LAUREN smiles, saying, “There we go.”
PANEL FOUR: A group of kids sit around the table with LAUREN. Clockwise: AVERY, a red headed kid with a yellow shirt and jeans; MELINDA, a black haired kid with a purple shirt and a gray stuffed bunny; DEVON, a black haired kid with a pink shirt; VICKY, a black haired kid with a purple shirt with a pink cat graphic; ARSHAAN, a black haired kid with a red shirt; DARWIN, a blond kid in an orange shirt; and SANTINO, a gray-haired kid wearing a short-sleeved blue shirt.
ARSHAAN is pointing toward the projection, saying, “What the H— I mean, what is that?”

PANEL ONE: LAUREN smiles as she gestures toward the Chillhop Raccoon projection. Saying, “It’s Chillhop Raccoon!”
PANEL TWO: Zoom in on the upper left hand corner of the projection. A superimposed rectangle reads “Vibez by Ghostie” with a musical note.
From off panel, LAUREN says, “It’s a looping animation that goes with the music.”
PANEL THREE: ARSHAAN thrusts his hand into the air, asking, “How long is the animation?”
PANEL FOUR: LAUREN leans her face on her hand and says, “I don’t know. Maybe a couple of hours?”
PANEL FIVE: VICKY raises her hand, asking, “How come the headphones don’t go over his ears?”
PANEL SIX: LAUREN smiles back at her, replying, “That’s a good point! How would you solve that—“
From off panel, SANTINO interrupts, “Put on Mr Beast!”
PANEL SEVEN: LAUREN jabs a finger at SANTINO, retorting, “We are not. Watching. Mr Beast.”
SANTINO grins nervously.
PANEL EIGHT: Chillhop Raccoon against the left edge of the panel while the sun shines in the blue sky.
PANEL NINE: Chillhop Raccoon in the middle of the panel while the sun sets in the red sky.
PANEL TEN: Chillhop Raccoon against the right edge of the panel while the moon shines in the dark blue sky.
PAGE THREE
PANEL ONE: DEVON draws on her paper. With a worried expression, she says, “It’s night now.”
PANEL TWO: DEVON looks up, asking, “When does the raccoon sleep?”
PANEL THREE: DEVON’s eyes have become two haunted ovals. Wiggly Emanata pulse from her had as she asks, “Does he sleep?”
PANEL FOUR: LAUREN glances up at the projection and responds with confusion, “Haha, what?”
PANEL FIVE: DEVON, her expression still haunted, raises her pencil and asks, “Does he ever reach his destination?”
PANEL SIX: The other kids look at DEVON as she continues, “Does he even know where he’s going? Does he have a home? Does he even realize that he’s been walking for hours—“
PANEL SEVEN: DEVON’s eyes turn into hearts as she interrupts herself with, “Aww, he just checked his phone. Cute!”
PAGE FOUR
PANEL ONE: The lower half of AVERY’s face is visible as he says, “Chillhop Raccoon is eternal.”
PANEL TWO: AVERY draws on his paper as he continues, “He angered an ancient elder god and now he is doomed to wander the Earth, day and night, through all weather.”
PANEL THREE: AVERY continues drawing, eyes on his paper, as he keeps speaking, “He can’t even choose his own music, the one place where he might find solace.”
MELINDA eyes him with mild horror, uttering a single syllable, “Bro.” Their stuffed bunny sits beside them on the table.
PANEL FOUR: LAUREN narrows her eyes as she jabs her finger again, saying, “Folks, this is supposed to be chill. You know, relaxing?”
PANEL FIVE: Chillhop Raccoon walks against a city skyline; the sky has gotten lighter again. LAUREN continues speaking from off panel, “I’m pretty sure it’s not supposed to trigger an existential meltdown.”

PANEL ONE: DEVON and VICKY both look up with dismayed expressions and wiggly Emanata coming off their heads. DEVON shouts, “It’s daytime again! He’s been walking all night!” VICKY adds, “This is freaking me out!”
ARSHAAN is just watching the projection with a calm expression.
PANEL TWO: LAUREN has her arms folded on the table and is resting her head on them, her eyes closed in defeat. She says, “Next time I’m just putting on Lofi Girl.”
PANEL THREE: VICKY claps her hands in delight, exclaiming], “I love Lofi Girl! She’s got a cat!”
PANEL FOUR: Several kids start talking at once while the others look on with concern and amusement. MELINDA objects, “No! She’s always studying!” ARSHAAN adds, “She writes the same thing over and over!” DARWIN says, “She’s trapped in her apartment.” AVERY sagely adds, “She angered a powerful witch…”
